Fused Glass Clock
This fused Glass wall Clock is made using a special process called optics harminics. This process requires a Glass Kiln, time and lots of patience. After th glass is cut to size and assembled, it is then placed in one of my glass kilns. Slowly fired to a temperature above 1400 degrees farienheit followed by a controlled cooling (anealing) to make sure th glass is properly fused and cooled. Once cooled it is then removed from the kiln cleaned and inspected. Sometmes I will flip the glass over hand sand with a dimond sanding pad and place it back in the kiln for a firepolish. After another 24 hours in the kiln removed, then cleaned and the hole is drilled in the center and the clock assembly installed.
Measures 8" x 8" x 1 1/2"
Other color options available by request. Please message with special order requests.
Due to the nature of handmade glass art there is a possibility of bubbles, marks or color variations. These shouldn't be considered defects but part of the handmade process.
