Stained Glass Ukrainian Tryzub

Stained Glass Tryzub or Trident.
 
This is made using stained glass and copper foil. The Tiffany method of stained glass. Once a pattern and the glass is selected the fun begins. I cut all the pieces of glass to the patten, grind each piece to fit if required. Then I apply the copper foil and then solder the project and add a border. When cooled I clean the glass and then apply a patina to color the solder black. then clean again and wax the glass and solder.
Each piece is unique as there may be a different texture to the glass other then pictured. Depending on what glass is in stock or available at the time of making the Tryzub.
1 piece zinc border adds to the strength to the project.
 
 
Due to the nature of handmade art there may be the chance of bubbles or marks on the glass. These are not to be considered defects but part of the handmade process.
This sets the artist apart from mass produced items.
