Sunflower Dish

Fused glass sunflower dish.
This dish is created using multiple layers of glass as well as glass frit and murrini. The layers are fused together in one of my glass kilns, the ln cooled. It is removed and cleaned. The next step is to add frit and murrini, then fire again. Once fused and cooled, it is then cleaned and then placed back in the kiln on a slumping mold and fired again. This lengthy process creates a beautiful and functional dish. 
-These are custom made, and each one will be unique. No 2 will ever be the same. 
- Put on display or use as a fruit dish or for special occasions.
-Handwash only, no dishwasher or oven.
-Due to the nature of handmade glass art, there is a possibility of bubbles, color variations, or marks. These shouldn't be considered defects but part of the handmade process.
